Tree Trimming & Line Clearance

Give your trees the care they need while keeping your property safe and accessible.

Tree Trimming

Keep the Trees You Enjoy Working for Your Property

The shade, character, and privacy your trees provide are worth looking after. But as branches grow, they can crowd your roof, hang over a driveway, or make parts of your yard harder to use.

B&G Tree Trimming helps you address those concerns while considering the tree you want to keep. We look at its condition, structure, and surroundings, then recommend trimming that serves a clear purpose.

What We Can Address

What Would You Like to Improve?

More Room Around Your Home

Branches growing too close to your roof, siding, or other structures can become an ongoing concern. Selective trimming creates appropriate clearance while considering how the tree will continue to grow.

Easier Access to Your Outdoor Space

Low or spreading branches can interfere with walkways, driveways, parking areas, and the places where you spend time outdoors. Trimming can help make those spaces more comfortable and practical to use.

Attention to Dead or Damaged Branches

A dead, broken, or visibly damaged limb deserves a closer look. We assess the concern and discuss the work needed to address it, including whether the tree’s overall condition warrants further evaluation.

A More Balanced Appearance

An overgrown canopy can overwhelm the surrounding landscape. Thoughtful pruning helps manage unwanted growth and improve the tree’s appearance while respecting its natural form.

A Clear Plan Before Any Branches Come Down

You may know exactly which branches concern you—or simply feel that the tree has gotten out of hand. During the site visit, we’ll walk through what you’re noticing and what you hope trimming will accomplish.

The recommendation considers the tree’s condition, nearby structures, and the amount of clearance needed. We’ll explain the proposed work so you understand what will be removed and what the result is intended to achieve.

Owner Ben Gutierrez typically handles site visits and estimates. His tree care experience since 2003 helps you put the immediate concern in context and decide how to proceed.

Proper Pruning With the Future in Mind

How a tree is trimmed matters beyond the day the work is completed. B&G emphasizes proper pruning practices and does not offer tree topping.

If your goal is to reduce a tree’s size or address heavy overgrowth, we’ll discuss what is practical for that particular tree. The aim is to manage the concern with attention to the tree’s structure and future growth.

If a tree has been topped in the past, let us know. We can assess its current condition and discuss whether corrective pruning is appropriate.

Line Clearance Before Growth Becomes a Bigger Concern

Branches growing toward utility lines can leave you wondering who to call and how the situation should be handled.

B&G offers preventive line clearance trimming. During the assessment, we’ll discuss the tree’s growth, its proximity to the lines, and whether the requested work is within our scope.

Because work near utility lines requires special precautions, contact us to discuss the situation before arranging the work. If branches are touching power lines, contact your utility provider and keep your distance from the tree and lines.

Know What Comes Next

Before the project begins, we’ll discuss the planned trimming, access to the work area, and any particular concerns about your property. Ben is usually on site during the work, helping keep those details in view.

Once trimming is complete, cleanup includes removing the resulting branches and debris from the work area. You can get back to enjoying your outdoor space without a pile of cut limbs becoming your next project.

Let’s Take a Look at Your Trees

You don’t have to wait until a tree is badly overgrown to ask for an assessment. If branches are getting in the way or you’re unsure what care is appropriate, we’re here to help you understand your options.
